Charlene finished her cardinal painting and Louie painted a whale breaching out of the water in Hawaii. It seems everybody is thinking of Hawaii!! I think everyone is tired of the New England winter!

Last night at my Acrylic Painting Class at Westfield Creative Scott worked on his interpretation of my oil painting pictured below. It is entitled "Mt. Tom Winter Brook". Scott is doing good and will probably finish his painting next week. I don't paint many snowy winter scenes and plan to do more in the future. I admire those "plein air" painters who dare the freezing cold and go outside to paint the winter scenes.
