Last night we had five painting students at Westfield Creative Arts at the Rinnova Building at my Acrylic Painting Workshop! Alexandra, Gloria and Carol painted using the below pictures as source material (pineapple and apple scenes are my oil paintings, water lillies belongs to Monet) and all three did great! Scott started a painting of a whale's tail coming out of water in Hawaii and Danielle started a portrait painting of her young son. All did fantastic!
I just got an online art appraisal of this oil painting that was found by the side of the road in Westfield by my sister who gave it to me. Things people throw away! It is by Cape Cod artist Marilyn Schofield dated 89 or 80. It looks like a Cape Cod winter shore scene. It’s appraisal comes in as $200-$400. My wife Jean loved the painting and we framed it!
