Last night there were two students at my Acrylic Painting Workshop at the Westfield Creative Arts. Phyllis finished her tropical beach scene and a new student Kathleen a watercolorist worked on a Maine ocean sunset. My painted version and the original photo is below. Kathleen as a watercolor artist is used to using a lot of water with watercolor painting. In acrylic painting you use less water and more paint. She worked fast and did a great job with her painting, finishing it in the two hours. Sorry, I don't have a photo of hers!
Just finished another Newport boat painting. This is titled "Almost Home, Newport Harbor", It is oil on canvas panel, 11" x 14" and painted from my own photos
