Last night at my Westfield Creative Arts Acrylic Painting class I taught my three students how to use painting knives in combination with brushes as shown in the four small paintings below. We painted the forground lawn, sky and trees with brushes and use knives for the different colored bushes on the right. They said that they learned alot and had a great time. We didn't even stop for a coffee break!

There were three students at my Hadley Michaels Acrylic Painting Workshop last Friday! Nolan painted a floral using the Manet's painting pictured below. He did great with his mother's help. Katherine did another floral painting and Grace started a different floral. All three did different paintings! Kept me on my toes!

I had two students at my Michaels Acrylic Painting Class in Hadley last Friday. Nolan, my six year student used my oil painting below of a winter brook to create his own winter scene with the help of his mother. Katheryn decided to painted a scene of a whale breaching from one of my Hawaiian calendars with my help. We had a great time!

All my acrylic painting classes at my two Michael stores (West Springfield and Hadley) are $15 each. Normally they are $25 each. This $15 offer is a great value for painting classes in the Pioneer Valley. I have acrylic landscape, seascape and floral lessons already scheduled for November and December at this price. I teach each one as an individual artist and paint in a step by step process with the class. Also, I have new watercolor classes scheduled for the two stores in December. Please go into the Michaels store and register for the classes. Or you can go online at www.Michaels.com and follow the links to classes and the store location for the schedule. Start Painting and put some Fun in your Life!!
