Last night at my Acrylic Painting Class at Westfield Creative Scott worked on his interpretation of my oil painting pictured below. It is entitled "Mt. Tom Winter Brook". Scott is doing good and will probably finish his painting next week. I don't paint many snowy winter scenes and plan to do more in the future. I admire those "plein air" painters who dare the freezing cold and go outside to paint the winter scenes.
Fresh off the easel this weekend! "Honey Pot Road Autumn", oil on canvas panel, 16" x 20", I painted this from my own photos in my studio in the same style as my plein air painting but on a larger size canvas. I will paint more paintings in this larger format.

I have 14 paintings on display and for sale at Mama Cakes on Elm Street in downtown Westfield, MA. Included are two acrylic paintings, one watercolor and the rest oil paintings. Also, I have a large rack of loose matted original watercolor paintings. They will be there for the rest of the month and three weeks into February. Stop by to check them out and have a coffee and delicious cupcake!
