Last night at my Beginner's Acrylic Painting class at Westfield Creative Arts in the Rinnova building in Westfield there were five students. We used my oil painting below of a Maine lighthouse as a source material. In the two hour class most of them couldn't finish but will work on their paintings at home or bring it in for their next class. All did great! Check out www.westfieldcreativearts.com to see the information and register for my painting classes.

My painting demo from the Wilbraham Art League meeting last Tuesday. I was demonstrating my plein air techniques for the group of around 25 in attendance. I answered their questions while I demonstrated. A great group of artists! They all said that they enjoyed it. I still have to fine tune the painting. From my photo of Grandmother's Garden that I took a few years ago!
