Yesterday while painting on the Westfield bridge the owner of Richard's Grinders stopped by and asked for me to display my paintings in his stores. He has empty walls and wanted to have some color and artwork on them! Also, the offer was for my students paintings as well. I am happy to show them for the month of April. Many thanks to Brian the owner of Richard's Grinders!! I will post the show in April.
I used brushes and painting knives on this oil painting. It is entitled "Crane Pond Waterfall" and my perspective is viewing the falls through the overgrowth of trees and brush on the shore. It was very difficult to get an unobstructed view because of the trees and the deep ledge to the water. I used the knives on the leaves in the foreground.

I have 14 paintings on display and for sale at Mama Cakes on Elm Street in downtown Westfield, MA. Included are two acrylic paintings, one watercolor and the rest oil paintings. Also, I have a large rack of loose matted original watercolor paintings. They will be there for the rest of the month and three weeks into February. Stop by to check them out and have a coffee and delicious cupcake!
